Water & Adventure Playground
 Placer mining along the Weerbach, diving, jumping and splashing around in lakes and swimming pools. Playgrounds where children have fun and marvel at the same time. This and many other experiences are waiting for you in the Silver Region Karwendel.
• Placer mining along the Weerbach
Equipped with boots and washbowls and seized by gold fever you will explore the waters of the Weererbach and try your luck. The equipment incl. gold wash pan, boots and spades will be provided. The afternoon will end in a cosy wild water and campfire atmosphere.
• Bathing fun
The summer in the Silver Region Karwendel can be very hot. In this case a dip in cool water can be a relief. The kids will have fun and pure action in the lively, cool swimming pools of the Region as well as in the bathing lake of Weißlahn. The open-air swimming pool in Jenbach is provided with a big lawn for sunbathing, pools with different water temperatures, slides and much more. At the family spa in Stans you will find a big playground, slides for swimmers and non-swimmers, a pool for expert swimmers and whirlpool facilities. The new open-air swimming pool in Schwaz offers a big outdoor pool with action shower, 10m high diving platform, climbing net, relax pool, wading pool and other amazing facilities. A visit at the bathing lake of Weißlahn in Terfens will turn your day into an unforgettable experience. This bathing lake with natural island, playing court, beach volley pitch and little playground offers you the best location to make the best of your holiday.
• Adventure playground
Playgrounds are a sort of recovery for the soul of our children. For this reason we have six adventure playgrounds in the Region. The Knipping children park in Buch-Maurach is a great place to enjoy new open-air experiences. There you will find best maintained playground equipment (climbing wall, Tarzan’s rope...) for the young and the young at heart. The wood playground is surrounded by trees and is located above Vomp. The playground equipment is best maintained and suited for every activity. The adventure playground can be reached from the East end of Jenbach. Just relax and enjoy the sun on your skin while your children are collecting unforgettable impressions. At the adventure playground in Grafenast also the older ones will learn how to marvel again. Indian tipi, fireplace and many other discovery possibilities will let the time pass quickly. Every day a new adventure – from sunrise to sunset.
