Hofer Chapel
This Chapel is sanctified in honour of the 14 Holy Helpers. They are the saints: Achatius, Giles, Barbara, Blaise, Christopher, Cyriacus, Denis, Erasmus Eustachius, George, Catherine, Margaret, Pantaleon and Vitus. The Chapel was built in 1819 and was provided with the altar piece of the 14 Holy Helpers (painted by Johann Georg Höttinger in 1730). Since its last restoration in 1996 this Chapel has gained even more magnificence and splendour. |
