Int. Snow Dual Downhill Race: There will be just one winner!

This event is thought for the "wildest" mountain bikers and for those who want to put themselves and their bikes to the test. The Int. Snow Dual Downhill Race in Kolsassberg, (18.02.06) Silberregion Karwendel, is the only contest of this type in Austria. That’s way so many participants and bystanders from the free ride and downhill world rush to Kolsassberg.

This entertaining top event offers an excellent slope with high technical challenge sessions. During lots of exciting duels free riders will jump down the ski slope of Hoferstubn until the winner is announced according to ÖRV exclusion regulations. Italian down-hillers from the Garda Lake region have already accepted the challenge, but everyone who dares to can also join in. The “Fun class “ category is dedicated to the youngest riders who will entertain the audience with cool performances until the winner is crowned. The “Regional session” honours the best raiders coming from the neighbourhood. Those bystanders who feel like testing this amazing fun sport, can also rent a bike and try out the track “out of competition“. After celebrating the award ceremony the contest will go on with the High Jump Race. Flying mountain bikers will take off from the ski jump trying to get the best scores. An extraordinary show for the audience – just as well as the offered culinary choice. The Snow Dual Downhill Race in the Silberregion Karwendel is just the prelude to a long and amusing bike season in the romantic setting of Karwendel mountains and Tux Prealps. Enjoy wonderful panoramic tours and try out the transalpine route from Lengries to Hinterriss and Weerberg (great tip for bikers).
