There is always a season for hiking in the Karwendel silver Region, since Nature shows itself from a different, fascinating side during every season. In the spring, resplendent carpets of gentian flowers colour the fields in the Karwendel region blue. In the summer, mountain peaks with breathtaking panoramas reward hikers for their efforts. In the autumn, the "burning colours of the larch forests" in the Tuxs Alpgs and the Ahornboden captivate the hikers.

The Karwendel Silver Region has focussed its attention to the needs and wishes of the hiker. Hotels, pensions and private room proprietors have joined together to form hikerfreindly enterprises. There hikers will receive special offers and services, such as free hiking maps and hiking guides. For refreshment en route there is a hiker´s snack, and those who need hiking sticks or a rucksack can borrow this free of charge at the hikerfriendly enterprises.
