The idyllic town of Hinterriss is situated in the heart of Karwendel and belongs to the municipal area of Vomp, which stretches from the Inn Valley until the Bavarian border.

Hinterriss is the only town in Karwendel which is inhabited the whole year and is therefore an ideal place for recreative and relaxing holidays - with no rush and no stress. Of course, sportsmen and active vacationers will find here many surprises, in summer as well as in winter.

In summer Hinterris is the perfect starting point for many different walking tours and mountain bike trips while in winter it is ideal for cross-country skiing tours and excursions through a wonderful snowy landscape.
