Vomp
Vomp is also called spring or fountain town because of its water richness.
Vomp has a millenarian history.
Vomp represents one of the biggest municipal areas in Tyrol and stretches from the Inn bank northbound across the Karwendel mountains with the natural reserve "Alpine Park Karwendel" until the Bavarian border. This area is characterised by the most famous climbing mountains in Tyrol - the Laliderer Walls. People of Vomp are very proud of their natural landmark the “Großer Ahornboden“ (Big Maple Plain). Some of the maples are older than 500 years and during autumn their leaves show striking colours. (see also Hinterriss-Eng).
Vomperberg ist the ideal destination for those who whish to spend a relaxing and restful destination: between Karwendel mountain and the vastness of the Inn Valley.
