Ten Chapels Trail
 Stretching approximately 8 km long, the ten chapels trail is a special treat for hiking and culture enthusiasts, alike.
The route commences at the Schwaz silver mine (Schwazer Silberbergwerk) and passes through quiet streets and snowy forest paths. The trail continues past ten local chapels, which reflect the contemporary architecture of the silver mines´s heyday. Visitors will be able to see altars at various chapels dedicated to the miners who toiled in the treacherous environment of the silver mines. |
